How to use this GST calculator
Choose whether your entered price includes GST. Enter the amount, select the applicable GST rate and choose the appropriate tax breakdown. The calculator estimates the taxable value, GST amount and total price.
GST-inclusive and GST-exclusive prices
For a price excluding GST, tax is calculated on the entered taxable amount. For a price including GST, the taxable value is estimated by dividing the total price by one plus the GST rate.
What are CGST, SGST and IGST?
For eligible intra-state supplies, GST is generally split into Central GST (CGST) and State GST (SGST). For eligible inter-state supplies, Integrated GST (IGST) generally applies. The correct treatment depends on the transaction and applicable GST rules.
